Last Month in New England

A month ago I had an enchanting weekend trip to Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

I mainly went to visit my dear friend Ella whom I hadn't seen since May 1976 in Israel, when we first me during a TWA package tour. She and I become friends while on the trip, and ever since then we've kept in touch. She's one of the sweetest people I know, remembering birthdays with cards and gifts, for me as well as my kids, whom she's never met.

So, there was no way I would have missed 'her' day, December 15, 2007, when she celebrated her 100th birthday.
